The V6 biturbo engine excels with a powerful output yet low fuel consumption and emission figures. Larger, model-specific turbochargers (maximum charge pressure 1.1 bar) are in part responsible for the high power yield. Both turbochargers are installed close to the engine and respond particularly swiftly. The AMG engine is recognisable by the engine cover with a red aluminium insert and AMG lettering.

The performance-oriented all-wheel drive by Mercedes-AMG combines the best possible traction with hallmark AMG driving dynamics and maximum driving pleasure. This is ensured by an emphatically rear-biased torque distribution of 31% to the front and 69% to the rear axle.

The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC is equipped with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission, which has been specifically configured by the Mercedes-AMG developers for a dynamic driving experience. Very short shift times have been achieved thanks to a dedicated software application. Multiple downshifts allow fast intermediate sprints, while the double-declutch function in driving modes "Sport" and "Sport+" makes the driving experience even more emotive.

The 4.0-litre V8 engine from Mercedes-AMG impresses with explosive power delivery and finely controllable power output – manufactured by a highly qualified team according to the legendary "one man, one engine" principle. Alloys adopted from motorsport in the cylinder heads and also cylinder barrels featuring NANOSLIDE® technology round off the technology package.

The AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension is your key to superior performance in everyday driving and on the race track. The adaptive damping provides a broad range between a comfortable and exceptionally sporty setup. You can choose between the modes Comfort, Sport and Sport+ and change the characteristics of the suspension at the press of a button at any time.

In the Mercedes-AMG C 63 and C 63 S, a further enhanced electronically controlled AMG limited-slip rear differential which has been adjusted to match the new rear axle ensures traction and driving stability at an extremely sporty level
