In addition, the sporty fresh interpretation of the classic 3-box design lends this Mercedes-AMG dynamic elegance.

AMG front apron

The sedan is based on a wheelbase of 2,729 millimetres and displays the powerful proportions of a dynamic, and at the same time, compact sedan with a sporty short overhangs at the front and rear. It includes distinguishing AMG design features such as the radiator grille with twin louvres, the AMG Line front apron with flics on the air intakes, a front splitter and silver chrome trim elements.

Compact yet sporty

Wider wheel arch for AMG wheels. Dominating the side view are the 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels. The two-part tail lamps and the new diffuser insert underscore the rear end that emphasises width.

AMG rear apron

The striking AMG rear apron with specific diffuser look featuring four vertical fins and two round chrome-plated tailpipe trim elements with a diameter of 90 millimetres make the car instantly recognisable.

The interior boasts a high-resolution, touch-sensitive Widescreen Cockpit, the MBUX multimedia system and the AMG centre console. Driving functions such as ESP®, manual transmission mode or the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension can be set on the touchscreen. In Supersport mode the centrally positioned round rev counter comes into its own, underscoring the Saloon's racing character. The multifunction sports steering wheel with Touch Control buttons adds to the authentic racing feeling.

This AMG steering wheel is trimmed in nappa leather and grippy DINAMICA microfibre – for perfect grip and precise control. The hallmark AMG flattened shape has been adopted from motorsport and underlines the sportiness of the cockpit. As an option the ergonomically positioned Touch Control buttons provide intuitive user-friendliness and are conducive to focussed driving.

AMG centre console

The exclusive AMG centre console in high-gloss black with buttons for the dynamic functions already hints at the vehicle's high-end technical resources while still stationary. It incorporates switches for operating manual transmission mode, 3-stage ESP® and the AMG RIDE CONTROL Sports Suspension.

    The striking design features in black and high-gloss black underscore the expressive character of the vehicle. A special effect comes courtesy of the correspondingly painted front splitter and the black chrome-plated tailpipe trim elements. On top of this, the heat-insulating dark-tinted windows from the B-pillar also boast practical advantages.

    AMG Aerodynamics package*

    The AMG Aerodynamics package has been developed in the wind tunnel to improve handling at high speeds and provides the basis for even greater driving enjoyment. The detachable body parts increase negative lift force. The larger AMG spoiler lip on the boot lid is a clear statement of the desire for uncompromising performance.

      AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension

      The AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension features an adaptive adjustable damping system, which allows the driver to switch between three different suspension configurations. The spectrum ranges from comfort-focused to sporty. The system operates fully automatically, adapting the damping forces for each wheel according to the driving situation and road conditions. This happens within milliseconds and is infinitely variable, with a wide spread of damping characteristics. The result is that ride comfort and agility are enhanced in equal measure.
